NEW YORK (AP) — Call it Stratford-upon-Hudson. Or maybe the East River.

Lincoln Center Festival says Great Britain's Royal Shakespeare Company will take up residence at New York's Park Avenue Armory in 2011, presenting five Shakespeare plays in repertory July 6-Aug. 14.

The plays will be chosen from the company's 2009 and 2010 seasons and could include "Antony and Cleopatra," ''As You Like It," ''Julius Caesar," ''King Lear," ''Romeo and Juliet" or "The Winter's Tale."

The 44-member ensemble will perform in a 930-seat thrust-stage auditorium that will be installed in the armory's Wade Thompson Drill Hall.

The announcement was made Monday by festival director Nigel Redden, Armory President and CEO Rebecca Robertson, and RSC artistic director Michael Boyd.
