(KMOV.com) -- Police have identified the employee killed in an industrial accident at a Pepsi bottling plant in north St. Louis on Friday night.

The accident happened at the plant, located at 1 Union 70 Center Parkway, around 9 p.m.

Mensud Djelmo, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the worker became trapped in a packing unit machine. Another worker found him while returning from his break and called police.

The investigation is ongoing.
