(KMOV) – St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney charged a 27-year-old woman with murder for the stabbing death of a north St. Louis man last December.
Investigators charged Danielle Mack-Jones, Tuesday, with second-degree murder for her involvement in the stabbing death of Freeman Whitfield, 39, on December 24, 2012.
During the investigation police learned Mack-Jones knew Freeman and lived in the same apartment complex. Detectives took her into custody where she later confessed to the stabbing death.
Police have also charged Mack-Jones with armed criminal action and stealing under $500. She is currently in jail with a $250,000 cash only bond.
