(KMOV.com) – Repair crews are working to restore water to residents along a south St. Louis street after a main water line ruptured.
The rupture happened in the 6000 block of Wanda Avenue. Water department crews were able to get the water shut off, but now residents in the area are without water.
Road crews are currently working on tearing up the roadway around the break. Officials said Wanda Avenue between Rosa and Dresden avenues will be closed to thru traffic for at least six hours on Wednesday while crews finish repairs.
