 (KMOV) – Police in Clayton are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who robbed a bank on Monday afternoon.

According to authorities, a man entered the Fifth Third Bank on the 8200 block of Maryland Avenue just before 2 p.m. and demanded money from the teller. 

After the teller turned over an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the bank.

He has been described by police as being a white male, 30-40 years old and approximately five-foot-nine with a slim build.

He was seen wearing a blue shirt, tan pants, white shoes and a blue St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball cap with a red bill.

The suspect left the scene in a purple/blue Hyundai vehicle which was reportedly driven by a white female with blonde hair in a ponytail.

The vehicle was last seen traveling east on Forsyth Boulevard.

No weapon was indicated or displayed during the robbery.
