WEBSTER GROVES, Mo.— A man is in custody after he allegedly tried to run away from police during an arrest in Webster Groves on Wednesday.
Police said they were arresting the man for a probation violation in the 700 block of Selma Avenue around 10 a.m. when he fled from his home on foot.
Police dispatched a helicopter to track the man and eventually found him about an hour and a half later in the 500 block of Colebrook.
The suspect was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for observation.
