ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Volunteers knit stockings and caps for the more than 300 babies born at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center this month.
The effort takes two women about two hours to make each stocking.
"It's really a blessing that people are thinking about babies that aren't theirs, and sort of trying to make some good in the world," said volunteer Niccole Garner. "And I think it's super sweet."
The latest project marks the eighth year volunteers have made and donated stockings to the December babies.
