(KMOV) -- The St. Louis Police Pension Fund has filed a lawsuit against Target for the massive security breach that occurred earlier this year.

The lawsuit accuses the company of "complete and utter lack of appropriate security."

Earlier this year, hackers stole personal information from as many as 110,000,000 customers.

The Police Retirement System of St. Louis owns stock in target and filed a shareholder lawsuit against its top executives and board of directors seeking restitution for losses from the breach.
