(KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Zoo’s newest elephant will make her public debut Wednesday.
Zoo officials say the public can view the baby elephant, Priya, for the first time from Wednesday until Friday.
Priya and her mother Ellie will be on display for visitors to see between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. over the course of those three days.
After the debut, both Ellie and Priya can be seen by the public, but not at scheduled times.
Priya was born April 26 and her name was chosen through a poll in which over 50,000 votes were cast.
