ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) - The St. Louis Police Department on Friday was teaching businesses and schools how to be prepared for mass shootings.
The police officer who led the response to the 2010 massacre at ABB, led two free seminars on Thursday. The sessions were held at Ameren Headquarters.
The workshops discussed tactics to prevent violence such as addressing threats and policy implementation.
"I am a city resident and I know we are dealing with violence not only in the city but everywhere," said attendee Mary Ann Owens. "I want to be apart of any action we take to end violence."
