ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV) -- St. Louis County officials say preventative health care has never been so easy. All it takes is a flu shot.
This year’s vaccine protects you against three viruses. If you don’t want to take a shot, nasal spray flu mist is available
Flu season can start as early as October and run as late as May.
“The best protection against the flu is one get vaccinated, two if you are sick or feel ill please stay at home, don’t take it to work, don’t take it school to spread anything,” said Dr. Dolores J Gunn, director of the Saint Louis County Department of Health.
You can get a free flu shot October 15 and 16 in south St. Louis County. People living in north St. Louis can get free flu shots October 18 and 19.
