ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Another water main break in south St. Louis kept repair crews busy Thursday morning.
A representative from the St. Louis City Water Department said the break happened near the intersection of Walsh Street and Louisiana Avenue. According to reports, the break happened around 3 a.m., but was not reported until 5 a.m.
Repair crews responded to the scene and discovered a large hole in the middle of the street and water gushing out of it.
There’s no word if area residents are without water or how long it will take crews to repair the break and the roadway.
The break is not expected to affect area traffic.
