Special military families leave Lambert for all-expenses paid trip

(KMOV) – Members of military families boarded the Snowball Express for an all expenses paid trip to Texas on Thursday.

The Snowball Express took off from Lambert Airport filled 66 kids and parents from southern Illinois and Missouri who have lost a parent while serving our country.

The trip, which ends in Dallas, is designed to give families a chance to interact and have fun with others who understand their situation.

The Snowball Express took off from airports throughout country, brining 1,800 people to Dallas.

The trip is paid for by American Airlines, American Eagle and the non-profit Snowball Express.
