Second Dierbergs-housed bank robbed in 8 days

FLORISSANT, Mo (KMOV.com) – Police are investigating a robbery of The First Bank in side a Dierbergs in the 200 block of North Highway 67.

A male suspect reportedly approached a teller and displayed a note announcing the robbery.

The man implied he had a weapon, though none was displayed. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of currency.  No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect was described as a black male, 30-40 years old, approximately five-foot-five to five-foot-seven with a thin build.  He was wearing a brown stocking hat, a brown jacket, and sunglasses.

The suspect was last observed as he ran into the parking lot of the Dierbergs.

Florissant Detectives are currently investigating the incident.
