(KMOV.com) -- News 4 found out it’ll cost tax payers and the Rockwood School District about $32,500 to find a new school superintendent.

The district has been functioning since July under former Wentzville Superintendent Terry Adams.

A search firm has been approved to lead the hunt for a permanent superintendent.

Costs include more than $7,000 in travel and advertising costs.

The firm will also ask parents for input starting next month.
