(KMOV.com) -- Police have identified a St. Charles man who was shot and killed in north St. Louis on Saturday night.
Officers responded to a shooting in the 8700 block of Riverview Blvd. around 10:30 p.m.
Kelvin Houston, 21, was shot twice in the back and critically wounded. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have taken a suspect into custody and have recovered a weapon. No word yet on the identity of the suspect.
Authorities say an investigation is ongoing.
