Police: 2 suspects still at large after man shot in chest, killed in Jennings

(KMOV.com) -- Police are still searching for two suspects after a man was gunned down while unloading groceries in Jennings on Friday night.

The shooting happened in the 5400 block of Hamilton around 8 p.m.

Authorities confirmed that a 38-year-old male victim was approached by two other men as he was unloading groceries from his vehicle.

The victim was able to run inside his residence, but was closely followed by the two suspects.

Police say the suspects shot the man inside his home, then fled from the scene.

The victim suffered a shot in the chest and was transported to Barnes Jewish Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say they are searching for two suspects, but have not release any further information on the case.

The victim has not been identified, pending notification of the family.
