(KMOV) – A 43-year-old Pevely is accused of locking her children out of her house after passing out from drinking too much alcohol earlier this month.
The woman was arrested on Sept. 17 on suspicion of endangering the welfare of a child.
According to police, officers responded to the call at a home in the first block of Pevely Square Dr. around 4:30 p.m. and found the children outside.
The children – girls ages 13 and 6 and a 9-year-old boy – had been out there for about an hour but were unharmed.
Police said they finally got a hold of the woman and she appeared intoxicated.
According to police, the children were released to their father. The woman was later let out of custody on her own recognizance.
