Police: Man enters Wentzville barber shop, fires gun at other customer

WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KMOV) – Police arrested a man who fired shots inside a Wentzville barber shop on Tuesday.


Police said the suspect walked into the All Cuts Barber Shop in the 100 block of West Pearce around 11:40 a.m.

Minutes later, the suspect walked out of the shop and got a gun out his car. Police said he then walked back into the shop with the gun hidden in a paper bag and fired several shots at the feet of a customer.

The victim was not hurt, but the bullets left several holes in the wall and floor.

The suspect was a regular at the shop and, according to another customer, was a “really great guy.”

Witnesses said he was seen leaving the business holding a gun and entering a black sedan. He then drove from the scene.

According to police, an employee saw the suspect’s vehicle enter the parking lot of the Wentzville Police Department.

Officers were alert and responded to the scene. The suspect was captured and a gun was recovered from his vehicle.

The suspect remains in custody at the Wentzville Police Department while charges are sought.
