CEDAR HILL, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A teenage boy was airlifted to the hospital in serious condition after being struck by a van in Jefferson County on Friday night.
Highway Patrol officials confirm the 14-year-old was struck while walking near the intersection of Highway B and Highway 30 around 7 p.m.
Authorities say the boy was transported via helicopter to St. Louis Children's Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
The driver of the van reportedly stopped after the accident, and is cooperating with police.
Police have released no further information on the incident, or the boy's condition.
