SOUTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – One person is dead after a motorcycle collided with a car in South St. Louis on Thursday afternoon.
St. Louis Police say a motorcycle crossed the center line and struck an oncoming Honda Civic at the intersection of Chippewa and Gustine around 4:00 p.m. The motorcycle exploded in flames from the impact.
The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two juveniles in the Honda Civic were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The driver is considered to be stable at this time. The passenger was treated and released.
Details into the investigation have not been released.
