Hallmark Apartments
MEHLVILLE, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A man was hospitalized with serious burns and other injuries after his South County apartment caught fire Sunday afternoon.
Officials said the fire started at the Hallmark Apartment complex in Mehlville just after 1:30 p.m.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze and keep it from spreading to surrounding units.
Investigators said careless smoking is believed to have caused the fire.
