(KMOV) – A man faces charges after he allegedly killed 34-year-old Julius Caldwell in north St. Louis late last month.
Thomas Edwards, 29, was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 4900 block of Arlington on April 21 and found Caldwell with gunshot wound to the head, torso and arm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said witnesses saw Caldwell running away from the scene after shots were fired.
He was taken into custody where he remains on a $200,000 cash-only bond.
