ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo (KMOV.com) -- The Missouri Highway Patrol and St. Francois County Sheriff’s office are both involved in an ongoing manhunt for a suspect who ran from police Wednesday night.
The search started just before 10 p.m. near the intersection of Highway B and State Highway 221, in Doe Run.
The sheriff started chasing the suspect’s car near that location. Police did not say why they were pursuing the suspect.
After a short vehicle pursuit, the suspect exited the vehicle somewhere on Hawk Hollow Road, just outside of Farmington.
One person was arrested at the scene. Authorities are still looking for the suspected driver.
