(KMOV.com) – Police in Maryland Heights are offering free drug testing to those who live or attend school with the municipality.
Parents will have the option of testing their teens and will receive information about treatment if they find their child tests positive.
The program will begin May 21 and is part of an effort to offset risks youths face related to drugs. The St. Louis Post Dispatch is reporting that testing will be conducted on Tuesday nights at the Maryland Heights Government Center.
Those interested in being tested must make an appointment.
