(St. Louis, MO) -- St. Louis news viewers continue to switch to KMOV, News 4 in large numbers. In the just completed February ratings period, News 4 at 10 once again finished first in A25-54.
It also was the overall most-watched newscast in the market in terms of total viewers, finishing with a 10.1 household rating. This comes despite running opposite the 2014 Winter Olympic Games on KSDK. Also, for the second month in a row and first time in a major ratings period,
News 4 This Morning beat the morning news at 6am on KSDK, both in A25-54 and HH. KMOV also finished first at noon. Below are the A25-54 ratings for February compared to the Feb 2013 ratings period.

The numbers are more dramatic among women 25-54, where KMOV finished first in the ratings at noon, 5, 6 and 10pm. The team of Steve Savard and Sharon Reed has won the 10pm news race each month going back more than a year.
KMOV Executive News Director Sean McLaughlin attributes this success to a strong investigative brand, and a news team people connect with.
“Steve and Sharon have such a strong working relationship, and they connect with the people of the St. Louis not just through the newscasts they anchor, but also as they interact with them every day while they are out covering local news stories,” Steve and Sharon have anchored News 4 at 10 since January 2013.
