EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- A pizza delivery driver was robbed in East St. Louis on Sunday afternoon, according to store employees.

A female driver reportedly left an Imo's Pizza, located in the 2400 block of State Street, on a delivery around 1 p.m. When the delivery driver arrived at the customer's address, employees say the man robbed her of $60 worth of pizza.

Imo's employees told News 4 the man only robbed the driver of the pizzas, saying that he was hungry. The man then reportedly got into a car with the stolen food and drove away.

The delivery driver took down the man's license plate number, according to employees, and a description of the car.

No word yet on whether a weapon was used in the robbery. Imo's employees say police have tracked the man down, and taken him into custody.

Police have released no official information on the incident.
