Route 3 & St Thomas Rd in Granite City
GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOV) – An elderly woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Granite City on Friday.
Police said a pickup truck was traveling north on Route 3 around 11:55 a.m. when a car traveling west on St. Thomas Road attempted to turn left and pulled in front of it.
The driver of the car, identified as 77-year-old Joyce Davis, was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
Police said they are continuing to investigate the cause.
