ST. PETERS, Mo (KMOV) – Emergency crews responded to chemical spill at the Davita St. Peters Dialysis Center Monday afternoon.
The building was evacuated around 1:15 p.m. after an employee was mixing chemicals and vapors were released.
The worker mixing the chemicals was transported to an area hospital as a precautionary measure.
Three other ambulances were called to the scene, but no other injuries were reported.
The center was evacuated for about 45 minutes and firefighters cleared the scene shortly before 3 p.m.
