DeSmet student charged with terrorist threat, computer tampering

(KMOV) -- A student at DeSmet Jesuit High School is being charged with making a terrorist threat after their alleged involvement in tampering with the school's computer system.

It was reported to the Creve Coeur Police Department that there was suspicious activity with social media posts and evidence of unauthorized tampering to the school’s computer system.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities try to determine the depth of the damage on the school’s computer system and if anyone else was involved in the threat.

Further details of the case have not been released.
