Chicago flash mob robbery takes store for over $3,000

CHICAGO (KMOV.com) -- A growing crime trend is causing concern for store owners. Mobs of young people rushing in to rob a store has been happening with increasing frequency.

The latest attack was caught by a surveillance camera in Chicago.

More than 20 teens made off with at least $3,000 worth of jeans. The teens figured out how to unlock a door, and rushed into the street after the mob. .  Streets were packed with crowds from a local fair, making it easier to blend in.
