(KMOV.com) – Authorities said nobody was injured after a school bus accident Friday morning.

According to police, the accident occurred just before 8 a.m. on Route 141 near between I-55 and Jeff Co Boulevard. Authorities said the bus, which was carrying students from the Fox School District, rear ended another car when the bus driver attempted to stop but could not.

The car, which was carrying two Fox High School students, proceeded to hit another vehicle. The second car suffered minor damage. After the accident, the school district took the bus in for repairs and it was determined that a crack in an air brake valve was the culprit.

School officials said the bus has been repaired and will be used Monday.
