(KMOV.com) – Repair crews in south St. Louis are working to contain water flow after a six-inch main ruptured Thursday morning.
City water officials said the break happened around 6 a.m. in at the intersection of Macklind Avenue and Neosho Street.
Todd Waelterman with the St. Louis Street Department said in a tweet that Macklind, between Neosho and Nottingham Avenue, will be closed all day Thursday.
Officials did not say if area residents' water service will be affected by the break.
Water main breaks throughout the city have kept repair crews busy for the last few weeks.
