(KMOV.com) – Anheuser Busch Inbev used the Super Bowl to pitch its newest product.

Budweiser Black Crown is the newest select beer to be brewed by the famous brewery. The company rolled its latest creation using a Super Bowl ad.  The brew masters chose a specific path for its production.

“We dispatched an assignment to all 12 of brew masters at all 12 of our breweries in the United States and asked each of the brew masters to come up with a new beer for Budweiser,” said  A.B.’s Senior Brand Manager Nate Scudieri.

A.B. Inbev called the process Project 12. The 12 beers were narrowed down to three finalists, one of which came from the brewery in St. Louis. In the end, a batch created in Los Angeles won and became Budweiser Black Crown.

"84-percent of beer drinkers who tried Budweiser Black Crown said they'd buy it, “Scudieri said. “We have those kind of numbers out of the gate. We couldn't be more excited.”
