(KMOV) – New charges have been filed against a woman accused of scamming people who were interested in buying local concert tickets online.

Prosecutors charged Desiree Townsend with tricking someone into buying fake tickets to the Bruno Mars concert in August.

In this case, police say the 36-year-old went by the name Desiree Covington and had someone spend more than $200 on fake tickets.

Townsend was already accused of tricking victims from O’Fallon, Missouri, Edwardsville and St. Peters.
