(KMOV.com) -  As Shiloh police investigators try to track down an armed robbery suspect, a witness said the culprit left a threatening note in her mailbox, scaring her out of her home.

Police are investigating three armed robberies at Midwest Petroleum in the 1550 block of Hartman Lane.

Police believe the same man robbed the gas station three times since 2011, the most recent robbery happened March 13.

A woman who lived near the gas station told police that she’d spotted the suspect, and later in the month she received a threatening letter in her mailbox.  That woman ended up moving.

“If I was single woman and I got a note like that in my mailbox I'd probably move too,” said Erin Johnson.

Surveillance pictures show the suspect in the store before the hold up.  Police said there are no leads in the case. Anyone with information that could help the case, are asked to call Shiloh police at (618) 632-9047.
