WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KMOV) -- A former Wentzville School District employee will not serve any jail after pleading guilty to having sex with a student in the special education program.

Victoria Reinke, 30, was sentenced to five years probation in St. Charles County on Monday. She could have spent up to four years in prison.

Authorities’ say Reinke was working as a teacher’s aide at Timberland High School in March 2012 when she started a relationship with the student, who has a learning disability with an IQ of 70.

According to court documents, the two began having sex in Reinke’s van when the victim was 17.

Reinke was sentenced nearly two months after pleading guilty to one count of sexual contact with a student.

Even though Mrs. Reinke worked at Timberland, she also spent time with some students from Holt High School.

She now has to register as a sex offender.
