Surveillance video released of shooting near the Pageant

( -- One man is in critical condition from a gunshot wound as police discovered the man near the Pageant in the Delmar Loop.

Authorities said the shooter hopped out of a black SUV and opened fire at another car striking the driver in the back. Police said the victim took off, but lost control of his vehicle and hit a minivan with people inside.

According to police, the people inside the van were just bystanders and are expected to be okay.

The incident happened at the corner of Skinker and Delmar around 7 p.m. Sunday night. Red light cameras captured the incident and the alleged shooter running from the scene.

The suspect seen in this red light camera video fled after the driver of the vehicle he was occupying suffered gunshot wounds to the back, causing him to crash their vehicle. The suspect is seen in this video fleeing the scene. Not only did the suspect leave illegal narcotics and a 9mm pistol behind, he went on to steal a vehicle to flee the scene before police arrived. 

Detectives are requesting your help to identify the individual in this video. The red light camera captured this video, but they need your help to solve this case.
