(KMOV.com) – Late night tire slashing has been a trend in Florissant, and police say two male teenagers are to blame for the damage.

Police said the two teens vandalized at least 24 vehicles within blocks of each other, all in one night. Most of the vehicles are concentrated on Layven and Flordawn.

According to court documents, the two suspects are Brian Salinas, 18, and Rasheed Shabazz,17.

“It's a lot. Makes you wonder what kids, what they're thinking nowadays,” said one neighbor.

One of the victims said police were able to lift the fingerprints from one of the teens off of a vehicle. That teen was then questioned which led to the revelation of a second accomplice.

The two teens are charged with 24 counts of misdemeanor property damage.
