UNIVERSITY CITY (KMOV.com) - Two people have been charged in connection with a burglary that occurred on Tuesday.

Police say 22-year-old Keisha Nicole Tyler and 21-year-old Eric Irons were both charged with second-degree Burglary. Tyler has also been charged with resisting arrest by flight.

Authorities say Tyler, Irons, and another man burglarized a home in 6800 block of Plymouth Avenue, where they stole electronics. The three then made a get away with Tyler driving the get away vehicle. After police received a call, they say they chased down the vehicle the three were on Sutter Avenue.

When officers attempted to pull them over, Tyler led them on a chase. Authorities say that she eventually lost control of car while driving on Eztel Avenue and crashed into another car.

Police took Tyler into custody after the crash. Irons suffered minor injuries. Police say the two men fled on foot.

Officers tracked Irons to a vacant home in the 5900 block of Julian Avenue and arrested him. The other suspect got away and authorities are still searching for him.
