ST. JAMES, Mo. (KMOV) -- Three St. James, Mo. residents were arrested Thursday after making a meth lab that caught fire.

Darryl Copeland, 50, Dwan Estep, 27, and Stephanie Gann, 27, were each charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and first degree arson.

According to authorities, police and firefighters responded on March 28 to a blaze inside a house on St. Ann Avenue in St. James, Mo.

After an investigation, the Missouri State Fire Marshal and officers with the South Central Drug Task Force determined that the incident was caused by a clandestine meth lab.
