(KMOV.com) – Police told News 4 they found over 100 pounds of liquid methamphetamine on truck in Cahokia.

According to police, the truck, which has California license plates, was spotted by an officer on Jerome Street turning without a turn signal. Officers then brought in a police dog named Pako to walk around the car. Authorities said Pako picked up the scent of narcotics near the gas tank.

When police went through the car they said they found 100 pounds of liquid meth, which police believe sells for more than $1 million on the street.

The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) told News 4 liquid meth is often converted to powder form.

Three people inside the truck were arrested but later released. Authorities said charges have not yet been filed.
