(KMOV.com) – A 16-year old boy and another juvenile are accused of stealing multiple guns, a police badge and other weapons from homes in South St. Louis.

St. Louis Police detectives stopped a vehicle being driven by Terrique Thompson, 16, and found the firearms, a knife and pepper spray in the car.  Police determined the car matched the description of a car involved in four burglaries in the Holly Hills area.

Police say Thompson also admitted stealing a police badge from a home on Rosa Avenue.

“You wouldn’t want someone my kiddos age see someone with a police badge and think that was someone they should trust and someone they could go to and instead it being much different,” said Amy Martin, a Holly Hills resident.

Three shotguns were stolen from a home on Dover Pl., electronics and a handgun were stolen from a home on Printz Ave. Thompson’s bond has been set at $75,000 cash. Authorities wouldn’t say if the other juvenile involved has been arrested.
