NORTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A 19-year-old man and 17-year-old girl were killed within six hours of each other after multiple shootings on a north St. Louis street.

According to the police, the shooting happened in the 5100 and 5200 block of Highland.

Police say Aniya Cook, 17, was killed after a man came out of a gangway and shot her in the face around 1 a.m. Tuesday. She died sometime Friday.

Alfonzia Williams, 19, was killed Monday night after being shot in the face, abdomen and arm.

Police arrested a suspect after Williams' shooting on Tuesday. Police did not have word on any suspects in Cook's murder.
