(KMOV) -- A teen has been charged as an adult for allegedly shooting a local pizza delivery driver even after he handed over his wallet on February 9.

Desmond Nguyen, 14, was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action. He was originally taken into custody by juvenile authorities. He was charged as an adult on March 18.

In February, Nguyen is accused of following a pizza delivery driver until they stopped on Neosho near Grand Boulevard where he opened fire.

According to reports Nguyen, Jayven Moose, 18, Kevin Dang, 17, and Justin Campbell,17, all wore masks as they demanded money from the driver. When the driver handed over the cash, police say Nguyen shot the delivery driver.

Nguyen is also accused of being one of the four teens in a van who started shooting at a 29-year-old woman walking south on Broadway around 11 p.m., that same evening.

The woman was shot in the neck and taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators determined the teens were also responsible for the delivery driver robbery on Neosho, property damage at Keokuk and Spring, and an assault and firing shots into a dwelling in the 7000 block of Trainor Court earlier in the evening on Feb 9.

Nguyen is held on a $250,000 cash-only bond.

In February, Campbell and Dang were charged with 11 counts of armed criminal action, eight counts of aiding/ abetting a person discharging/shooting a firearm at or from a motor vehicle, two counts of first-degree assault, and first-degree robbery. Moose was charged with eight counts of armed criminal action and eight counts of discharging/shooting a firearm at or from a motor vehicle, shooting at a person, motor vehicle, or building/habitable structure.

A $500,000 cash-only bond was set for Campbell, Dang, and Moose.
