Jennings man wanted for double murder taken into custody

JENNINGS, Mo. (KMOV) – A Jennings man accused of double murder was taken into custody early Friday morning by police.

Angelo Jackson, 21, of the 2000 block of Hord, was charged with two counts of Murder in the First Degree, one count of Burglary in the First Degree and three counts of Armed Criminal Action.

According to authorities, Jackson was found in the 2000 block of Hord in north St. Louis city after officers issued a search warrant to enter a home on the block.

Officers were initially called to the scene because an ambulance was requested at the Jackson's location.

He is charged in the April 9th murders of 21-year-old Andre Simms and 25-year-old Elroy Ragland.

Jackson is currently being held without bond.
