Suspect sought after armed robbery in Jefferson County

Fenton, Mo. (KMOV) – Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery in Jefferson County early Tuesday morning.

A male suspect, carrying a butcher knife, entered a BP gas station in the 100 block of Old Sugar Creek Rd. at 4:23 a.m. Police said the suspect told the clerk “it’s not personal” before making the clerk open the cash drawer.

According to police, the store clerk ran out of the gas station and called 911 from a nearby McDonald’s.

Police described the suspect as a white male approximately 5-foot-10 with a slender build, approximately 150 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, jeans, Nike black and white tennis shoes and one glove. The suspect is estimated to be in his early 20’s.
