3 16-year-old boys robbed, suspect sought in Franklin County

(KMOV.com) – Police in Franklin County have a suspect in custody following the armed robbery of three teenagers at a gas station.

According to police, the 35-year-old suspect approached three 16-year-old boys who were in a car in the parking lot of a Moto Mart at Highway 50 and Oak Street in Union at 8:20 p.m.  Police say the suspect walked up to the boys, displayed a handgun and demanded their money.

Police say after the boys gave the suspect their money the suspect took off in a black four door car heading north.  

 

The suspect was apprehended around 4:00 a.m. at a residence off of Highway UU in Union, Mo.
