(KMOV.com) – An undercover operation ended with one suspect in custody for alleged prostitution.

According to police, an undercover officer answered an internet advertisement for “St. Louis therapeutic massage on Oct. 28”. The officer arrived at a motel room where he met 44-year-old Kelly Hughes.

The officer paid Hughes $95. After the payment was received, Hughes told the officer that she would not perform any agreed upon “extras” unless the officer could prove he was not a cop. Police say that Hughes was placed under arrest after making the comment to the officer.

Hughes was charged with one count of prostitution, a class B misdemeanor.
