(KMOV) – Belleville man charged with one count of felony home invasion after striking a home owner in the head and face.
Jason S. Warren has been charged with one count of felony home invasion. Warren is a 37-year-old white male from the 1700 block of Mascoutah Avenue in Belleville. His bond has been set at $200,000.
The Belleville police department received a call of a home invasion in progress on January 27th around 7:30 p.m. Police say when they arrived at the home in the 500 block of Garden Boulevard they learned that the suspect had fled from the residence on foot.
Police say the suspect confronted the victim at the rear door and a struggle ensued. The victim was struck in the head and face and required medical attention.
Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect after a short search of the neighborhood.
